In compliance with applicable State regulatory authorities, COVID-19 vaccination is mandatory for all MSK staff. Staff are considered fully vaccinated upon completion of a primary vaccination series for COVID-19 (i.e., one dose of a single dose vaccine or a final dose of a multi-dose vaccine series). Exceptions from the COVID-19 vaccine requirement are permitted for those who request and receive an approved medical or fully remote exemption. Requests for medical exemption can take up to two weeks to review. Vaccination or an approved medical exemption is required to start work.

  Staff working at a MSK New Jersey location must be up to date with COVID-19 vaccination, which includes having completed the primary COVID-19 vaccination series and booster once eligible as mandated by New Jersey State. All New Jersey staff not yet eligible for a booster must receive a booster within 3 weeks of becoming eligible as a condition of continued employment at MSK.

Note: Individuals are eligible to receive a COVID-19 booster two months after completion of a primary vaccination series for COVID-19. Because vaccine-induced immunity can wane over time, MSK continues to strongly urge all staff to get a COVID-19 booster as soon as they become eligible to maintain their protective immunity for a longer period. We are looking for Care Coordinators in our Basking Ridge & Bergen locations in New Jersey.

You Are:

• An effective communicator, capable of determining how best to reach different audiences and implementing communications based on that understanding
• Adept at building partnerships and working collaboratively with a team to meet shared objectives and goals
• Actively seeking new ways to grow and challenge yourself, using both formal and informal development
• Flexible in your approach and demeanor in order to align with the shifting demands of evolving circumstances
• Passionate about working in a healthcare setting and committed to delivering a best-in-class patient experience

You Will:

• Work as a member of the practice staff team of Care Coordinators to ensure that each physician practice session is well-prepared, organized, and that each patient visit occurs with satisfaction
• Serve as a liaison between the patient, family, and clinical team during the office visit
• Greet/check-in and orient patients to the outpatient visit and to the environment, as well as complete the patient visit by scheduling and coordinating all appropriate tests, procedures, visits, treatments, and consultations in accordance with the physicians’ orders

You Have:

• A high school diploma/GED is required plus one year of relevant experience
• Experience in customer/patient service is strongly preferred
• A proven dedication to healthcare through work, internship, or volunteer experience
• Ability to handle acutely ill patients in stressful situations with a positive demeanor
• Strong digital literacy

Hours vary between 6:15 am and 10:00 pm (Monday-Friday, occasional Saturdays). Schedules are provided one week in advance and flexibility between shifts is expected #LI-Onsite
